Ginkgo Biloba Extract 60 mg 240 Caps (Health and Beauty)
I have been told I'm a very scatterbrained person and frequently run on in tangents like there's no tomorrow. In my mind everyone knows what I'm talking about at that very moment and what I'm thinking. I feel a bit more clean in my mental processes these days and have much better recall. I memorize barcodes for "fun" at work (not a very exciting job) with ease.

I purchased this item for my father-in-law, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, on the advice of his neurologist. My initial thought was that this just wasn't going to help, but thankfully I was wrong. This particular Ginkgo Biloba Extract did seem to work better than the generic stuff they were purchasing and the big "box" stores. After a few months, his Dr. saw much improvement on his cognitive tests and there was improvement on his ability to store and communicate information. I have purchased 2 more months worth and will continue to repurchase as needed. Great product with very fast shipping at an incredibly reasonable price.

I'm 50+ years young and I had hard time concentrating on anything. I started taking once a day the Ginkgo Biloba Extract 60 mg from last five years and it is helping me in staying focused and well organized. I remember things very easily. I had stopped taking the capsules for about three weeks just to see the effect. I experienced that I was feeling disoriented and did not feel like doing anything. I started the capsules again and in few days I was back to normal feeling energized.

I think the jury is till out on whether Ginko helps the memory but that is the reason that I bought it. My memory isnt bad but I am looking for that extra edge to use at work, and for help in remembering names of new people I meet. I can not yet say if it is working or me but I will give it the benefit of the doubt for now.
Ginkgo biloba has been used medicinally for thousands of years. Today, it is one of the top-selling herbs in the United States.
Ginkgo is used for the treatment of numerous conditions, many of which are under scientific investigation. Available evidence demonstrates ginkgo's efficacy in the management of intermittent claudication, Alzheimer's/multi-infarct dementia, and "cerebral insufficiency" (a syndrome thought to be secondary to atherosclerotic disease, characterized by impaired concentration, confusion, decreased physical performance, fatigue, headache, dizziness, depression, and anxiety).
Although not definitive, there is promising early evidence favoring the use of ginkgo for memory enhancement in healthy subjects, altitude (mountain) sickness, symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), age-related eye disorders, and the reduction of chemotherapy-induced end-organ vascular damage.
The herb is generally well tolerated, but due to multiple case reports of bleeding, it should be used cautiously in patients on anticoagulant therapy and those with known blood clotting disorders, or prior to some surgical or dental procedures.
I have been taking the Ginko for a couple of weeks now and I do feel like it is working. I am a mother of 2 teenage boys and a 2 year old toddler girl. It has been hard trying to remember all the appointments, all the meetings and all the kids schedules, but this has made me sharper and I do feel my memory is better. I am very health conscious and we mainly eat organic and unprocessed foods, so I wanted something natural to take. I do advise it for anyone who needs an extra edge, especially mothers.
