Waste of money,TC

I've used many of the phosphatidyl serine brands, and have found this one to be almost completely ineffective. I have HPA, hypothalmic-pituitary-adrenal axis dysfunction, and this is a required medication for me, not a supplement. I found these capsules are equivalent to taking water. I have found the Jarrow Formulas PS-100 (gold and blue label)gelcaps to be the most effective (5-star rating). It doesn't make sense because the ingredients read virtually the same, but perhaps the difference is in the absorption difference between capsules and gelcaps. Try them both before ordering multiple bottles. Be aware that the gelcaps are more prone to heat damage, such as in a car, in a pocket on a hot day, etc.

The pills are powder in capsules. The Jarrow formula I'd purchased locally was 60 count, contained small opaque gel-cap type pills, and I feel they are more effective (but also significantly more expensive). Both versions are available on Amazon; I simply ordered the wrong one, so I'll only take one star off for inadequate description. Just a heads-up...

Three months ago, I started taking these (1-3 daily) in addition to Nature's Way Alive Once Daily Women's Multi Ultra Potency, Tablets, 60-Count, fish oil and extra vitamin D. I'm ~3/4 through my first (and very challenging) year of medical school now, and I've managed to stay healthy while everyone around me is getting run-down and sick. The PS-100, this Jarrow product SPECIFICALLY (I've tried a few) is noticeably effective at helping sustain my academic endurance.

I highly recommend this product. However, it takes 2-3 months before you will suddenly realize that your thinking is clearer and your memory better. It makes such a difference, I always try to take it every day.
